Daily DeviationI love Geometry of Eiffel by ~DeeJey, Its the perfect shot of the eifel tower, and the street life that goes on underneath it. You dont HAVE to get a whole structure in frame to feel its majesty and grandeur. Not to mention, even shooting into the sun, the exposure is spot on. (Suggested by ~Treamus and Featured by ^Obsidian-Fox)

Great use of a wide angle!
I tried something similar, but I had a 18-70 lens, and on a D70 that 18 is a 27... and I did not really work out.
